Not surprisingly no-one got this one spot-on, so the highest scorers on the day were those who gained 3 points for predicting 3-0 or 4-1. Iceland's heroics to get this far had some managers fooled, with a smattering going for the draw or even an Iceland victory - and suffering for it. A whole host of us score 2 points for the France win. |
IT'S OFFICIAL - NOTTS CO USA ARE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS
Three matches to play and Notts Co USA cannot even mathematically be caught now... the maximum points swing is 7 points per game - and even if by some miracle Tre Leoni's results were all perfect from now on, and there was enough difference in their predictions and Notts' to achieve the 21 point swing, Notts Co USA would still win by virtue of predicting more exact scores.
Very well done to Brendan Keenan for a remarkable performance - I'll have to have a look back at the record books to see how it compares with previous winners, but there's got to be a good chance this is our most impressive Predictor win yet. |
